Delete your Sidetrack account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. It's permanent and happens right away. Your friends just see you leave their circle, quietly.

In the app

iPhone and Android: open Sidetrack, go to Settings › Delete account, then tap Delete everything.

What gets deleted

Your shelf, notes and passes, including pass links you made
Zaps you sent and got
Your plays, moments and Sidetracks (your Sunday digests)
Your Apple Music or Spotify link, and any Spotify data we hold
Your circle, on both sides, plus requests, hides, blocks and invite links
Your profile, photo, @handle, notification settings and push tokens
Your sign-in: if you signed in with Apple, we also revoke Sidetrack's access to your Apple ID

Reports you sent about other people are kept to keep the community safe, with your account removed from them, for 1 year.

Can't open the app?

Email hello@sidetrack.link from any address with the subject "Delete my Sidetrack account". Tell us your first name and @handle in Sidetrack (or the name of a friend in your circle) so we can find the account. We'll confirm with you, delete it within 30 days, and reply when it's done. We never ask for your password.

Deleting Sidetrack doesn't delete your Apple Music or Spotify account. You can also remove Sidetrack's access on Spotify's side at spotify.com/account/apps.
